Special Gathering with the Director of the Israel Philatelic Service who will answer questions and provide information. The gathering will take place on Tuesday, 23 November at 6:00 p.m. Follow signs at the entrance.

Friendly Meetings between Countries The days of the Exhibition are defined as days of friendship between Israel and the participating countries.

Each day will feature a special cancellation, including one for each country and at 5:00 p.m. we will mark the ties between the countries in the Israel Philatelic Service area.

Special “My Own Stamp” sheet paying tribute to the bicentenary of five Latin American countries. The Israel Philatelic Service is issuing a special “My Own Stamp” sheet and a special cancellation which will be cancelled on 22 November, 2010 as part of the Exhibition.

“My Own Stamp” incorporates personal photos with pictures of Jerusalem sites!

You may be photographed at the Exhibition or bring an existing photo or prepare a drawing and receive a new “My Own Stamp” sheet featuring the Israeli Flag stamp that is to be issued on the opening date of the Exhibition. The sheet includes 12 stamps, 6 photos of important sites in Jerusalem and 6 photos of the photographed person. Prestige Booklet - Jerusalem from Generation to Generation This unique booklet was issued by the Israel Philatelic Service as a tribute to the city of Jerusalem.

The booklet portrays the history of Jerusalem. In addition to five inside pages featuring explanations and photos, there are also five pages featuring reprints of 11 different previously issued stamps relating to Jerusalem. One of the stamps appears twice (for a total of 12 stamps).

This booklet is special in that it incorporates previously issued stamps which, for technical reasons, appear here with slight changes from the original printing.

Both sides of the booklet cover feature gold imprints.

Booklet Price: NIS 25.50 Item no. 5001019 Each of the booklet’s 15 pages features one of the animation stamps, which vary slightly from one to the next.

This allows you to flip through the pages of the booklet and watch a short animated “film”. The animated course of motion depicts a farmer who picks a sabra fruit, peels it and hands it to a girl who then eats it, and so forth.

The booklet pages also feature the Israel Postal Company’s deer in motion.

The Stamp Sheet and especially the Flipbook demonstrate animated motion in a manner that is unique worldwide.
