ROADTRIP
JISHAKU
A fast family game of wacky words, “RoadTrip” pits your wits against the timer in a race across the good ol’ USA. Packaged in a retro tin travel trailer you complete each challenge, collecting Rest Stop cards along the way. Can you rattle off three towns that start with the letter “P”? What about three fast foods that contain the letter “B”? Or, finish the “Tale of the Trip” by filling in the blanks with words beginning with “A”? How’s this: “When we stopped in Albuquerque, I bought an Armadillo to give to Aunt Alice!”
Jishaku, Japanese for magnet, uses finely polished hematite magnets for playing pieces. This intriguing strategy game can be played in three different ways. Players take turns placing the magnets onto a foam field, trying to either prevent the magnets from attaching to one another or to encourage them to connect, depending on the game.
