Los Rios Community College District Injury Disclosure Sheet: Baseball The risk of illness, injury, or death exists where individuals are exerting themselves while engaged in any activity. Students participating in off season and/or intercollegiate sport classes must adhere to all precautions and rules to reduce their risk of illness, injury, or death. The injuries and illnesses that students should be aware of include ​but are not limited to: Abrasion

Injuries and illnesses particular to the sport of baseball include ​but are not limited to: ● Injuries to the shoulder and elbow area of throwing arm ● Injuries related to being hit by a ball ● Abrasions and lacerations (sliding, diving) Injuries should be reported to the head coach and/or the athletic trainer immediately.
