• For this project, I will be transforming this dull land into an area that is more modern for the surroundings. The surrounding area is filled with various types of people from old to young and households with families so I would like to create a space that incorporates everyone. My idea is to:

 Leisure & Entertainment/Sports/ wellbeing centre.

 Themes: Geometric and assembly.

Specifications

Objective: My objective is to create a leisure centre that is very contrasted in colours but also something that incorporates the surrounding environments but also including modern buildings to modernise the area.

Requirements:

• Disabled access.

• Parking areas.

• Café.

• Changing rooms.

• Washrooms.

• Reception.

• Spaces for all ages.

• Fun activities.

• Eco-friendly power e.g., solar panels.

• Lounge area.

Target audience: The building will have multiple different sections that are going to be for many different ages from 4 to 90. However, the gym area would only be open to 16 and above.

My location is the Belhus Country Park.

The area is currently open the public as it allows people to have a network or walking and cycling routes. Additionally, the area has also had plans for extra woodland and habitats built for various animals on both the land and in the nearby lake.

Currently in the area there are no nearby leisure centres, however it is also located next to the M25 which would allow for greater access and combined with all the pathways for cyclists and walking it will be the perfect place to improve.
