Star Air, the aviation arm of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, announced its operations of the Embraer E175 jet on the Bangalore-Hyderabad-Jamnagar route, becoming the firstregionalconnectivityscheme(RCS)operatortoofferbusinessclassonthisroute. Garuda Indonesia Singapore Airlines announced a joint venture arrangement

Garuda Indonesia (GA) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced plans to enter into a joint venture arrangement that would deepen the cooperation, increase passenger capacitybetweenSingaporeandIndonesia,andoffercustomersmoretraveloptions. Subjecttoregulatoryapprovals,theproposedjointventurewillcoverroutesbetween SingaporeandDenpasar,Jakarta,andSurabaya ThiswillexpandontheMoUthatthe twoairlinessignedinNovember2021.

Mr Irfan Setiaputra, President and CEO, Garuda Indonesia, explained, “The joint venture agreement is also a part of our effort to improve our company’s performance through our network strategy by optimising our network through partnernship with our strategic airline partners, especially Singapore Airlines.
