Hi, I am Shailesh, Architect, LEED® Green Associate™ and IGBC ™ AP who loves designing sustainable and performative building designs. I recently graduated with my thesis project on “High-rise Mixed-use Building” using Parametric Design principles to Simulate and Optimize the building form. Worked majorly on high end Residential projects from revising the initial drawings to working on technical drawings. Developed concept and presentation for two residential projects, and utilized Sketchup, Rhinoeros 6 and Lumion to produce photo-realistic renders and diagrams at various design stages.

Achieved Runnerup Trophy at the Zonal NASA convention 2017 : Zone 1 because of our delegates team efforts for the competitions in the convention. Total 54 colleges participated in the the convention from the north India.

To challange was to design high performance mixed-use tall Building where just not only considering the economic feasibility of the space but also to develop a space where social and Environmental aspect of the building are considered by using simulation and optimization in the early design phase. The Extensive use of parametric designing have been done so that the design can be itterated by using some parameters in the script developed in grasshopper after every simulation to optimize it for high performance of the building and designing the facades to reduse the impact of radiation on the thermal comfort.

The tower’s profound twist expression is the result of its geometry, which can be broken down into three key components Horizontal Profile , Rate of Twist and Tapering.These three parameters help in creating a performative and structurally optimized building forms. The Projects Brief was to do the master planning of the 11 hectare MICE centre and Design the Convention Centre on a patch of 2 hectare based on the master planning.Japiur is one of the major hub for tourism and Commertial activites in north India and the design of the project
should reflect the cultural context of the city. The Convention Centre is designed such that it has direct connection to the dravayawati rever development and central plaza as it is one of the most open and connected part of MICE.

MASSING MODEL
The Master planning is done such that the vehicular circulation is restricted to the perimeter of the site and the internal spaces can we accessed with the help of electric carts , Bicycles and pedestrian walkways. Two Lanes has been segerated one of them is for the electric carts and another one is for pedestrian with the essential ammenities such as resting spots , direction boards etc. This Reduces the possilbe accidents and noise pollution due to vehicles and increases the chance of human connection into the development.

The Planning of the convention centre is done such that main theater like convention hall is kept on the Level ground floor balancing out the contour on the site and is connected to the shaded amphitheatre overlooking dravayawati riverfront.The First and Second Floor holds multiple convention and metting halls with restaurant on third floor overlooking river . The Government of India has launched “Working Women Hostel Scheme” to promote the availability of reliable and conveniently located accommodation for the working women who are leaving their homes due to professional commitments.
The project deals with safe and affordable accomodation for working women providing socially interactive and happy living space. As concept for the design mojor focus was given on to providing internal interactive spaces at multiple levels with connection to outside.

To further this concept building services and climatic aspects governed the form of the building. Maximum Vertical service shafts were provided to decrease the issue of hair blockage in the women hostel and the Brise Soleil / Sun Breakers were used on the outer facade to reduce the impact of solar radiation. The View to interior has been restricted to probide safe and private environment for the women and this will enable to enjoy the open and semiopen spaces the way they want and have the access to balconies from every room to have freedom to use both type of spaces as per their need. Multiple Level green spaces have been provided in the central area with green bridges connecting on second floor.

Co-living seeks to bridge the gap in the society, with micro-space as an interaction spaces. Targeting a slightly older demographic that desires a strong sence of community and curated offering, but also sense of togetherness. Multi housing helps in the filling the gap created by humans between themselfs by sharing spaces without disturbing their privacy at the same time.

INTERLINKING OF SPACES Green spaces included for maximum interaction among the occupants of the house. The circulation is designed such that the occupants can interact while commuting inside-out of the house. Courtyard as an traditional element of the houses in the rajasthan catters the social needs of the house where all residents can come together and interact. The terrace garden on first floor is directly connected from each unit providing multiple gathering spaces for the residents and the place to sit around and enjoy bonefire and music with barbeque under the open sky.

As soon as you enter an artist's studio you can just tell that it's no ordinary space, it has something special that you can actually define but that defines that space perfectly. It's that thing makes an artist's studio or workspace easy to recognize and that gives it character.The studio has been designed in the Jaipur, Rajasthan for Sir Anish Kapoor. The form of the studio is inspired by the works of the Sir Anish Kapoor creating a void in the volume.

Villa Jardin is the high end residential project with House office at the entrance of the house above the staff quarters over the budget of 17 crores for Actor & producer from South Indian film industry in Bangalore outskirts. The Exposed use of material such as Concrete , Stone and Wood connects the building to the nature and provides warm environment. The interor of the house is having open floor plan and is designed to organise gatherings in the house.

THE SPIDER PERSONAL WORK // DJ DESK DESIGN SOFTWARE USED : AUTOCAD , SKETCHUP , RHINO , PHOTOSHOP , LUMION , MORPHOLIO TRACE
The challange was to design a low cost and stable DJ Desk using the waste material drom the college campus. Bamboo was used as the tructure of the desk, jute ropes to tie up the structure and waste wooden boards from campus were used. Structure was able to be in it's original shape and proportion until it was removed for new DJ desk construction as the essential part of Annual Cultural Week. The complete project was executed under tight budget of Rs. 5000. ( $ 70 )
