Welcome! Thank you for joining us this evening! In our music classes, we have learned not only how to be good performers, but how to demonstrate great audience behavior. As the audience, you are an important part of tonight’s concert. The audience’s responsibility at formal concerts is to honor the efforts of the performers by providing a listening atmosphere in which all can appreciate their performance. Will you help us tonight? • Please do not talk when students are performing. • Please don’t walk around during the performance. If you need to step outside, please do so between songs. • Please do not call out or wave to students on the risers. • Show your appreciation with applause and be sure to congratulate our performers tonight. We have worked very hard to prepare an exceptional evening of music for everyone to enjoy. Thank you in advance for your assistance in helping this to be a wonderful experience for all of us.

Please silence phones and other electronic devices upon entering the Auditorium. Thank you. 4

Shaker Schools Foundation •

SSF was the first foundation in Ohio to support a public school system when it launched in 1981. SSF covers what tax dollars cannot, enriching and expanding opportunities for learning — in and beyond classrooms. SSF raises and distributes funds for academics, arts, athletics, student opportunity assistance, technology and co-curriculars.

Through the generous support of individual donors, community partners and grants from corporations and foundations, we are able to make a difference in the lives of all Shaker students at every grade level throughout the Shaker Heights City School District. For more information, or to donate online, visit SSF’s new website at shakerschoolsfoundation.org.
