Thank you for joining us this evening! In our music classes, we have learned not only how to be good performers, but how to demonstrate great audience behavior. As the audience, you are an important part of tonight’s concert. The audience’s responsibility at formal concerts is to honor the efforts of the performers by providing a listening atmosphere in which all can appreciate their performance. Will you help us tonight?

• Please do not talk when students are performing.

• Please don’t walk around during the performance. If you need to step outside, please do it between songs.

• Please do not call out or wave to students on the risers.

• Show your appreciation with applause and be sure to congratulate our performers tonight.

We have worked very hard to prepare an exceptional evening of music for everyone to enjoy. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in helping this to be a wonderful experience for all of us.

Start a Shaker Student Travel Savings Fund Today!

At the high school level, a great number of travel opportunities exist for students–whether touring in Europe with fellow students from the band, choir or orchestra, engaging in a language immersion program to Chile or Germany, or participating in a service project in Southeast Asia.

While all student travel experiences have fundraising opportunities to support the trips, we know these costs are great. The time to start saving is NOW! Our partnership with Huntington will allow you to start a Student Travel Savings Fund now.

Your savings today will give your student the experience of a lifetime in high school! To start your student’s travel fund, contact Brandon Tufts at Huntington’s Fairmount Circle branch at 216-515-0285.
