Location The village of Carbrooke is located in the heart of the rural Norfolk countryside in the Breckland District and is 3 miles from Watton, 5.5 miles from Hingham and 17 miles from its postal town of Thetford. The fine cathedral city of Norwich, lies 20 miles to the North East and provides a wider variety of shopping, commercial and leisure facilities, cinema, theatre, restaurants, hospital and high street stores. Norwich boasts the largest open air market in the country with stalls selling a wide range of goods and is open 6 days a week. There is a good selection of both state and independent schools within easy reach including the popular Wymondham College. Independent schools include Norwich Town Close House Prep School, Hethersett Old School, The Norwich School and Norwich School for Girls.



Travel Carbrooke village is 15 minutes drive from the A47 and 20 minutes from the A11 providing excellent links with the Midlands and London respectively. Fast train links are available from Norwich and Thetford to London. Norwich Airport with domestic and international connections is approximately 20 miles to the north while London Stanstead Airport can be reached in 1 ½ hours via the M11 and by train. Directions Traveling west on the A47 from Norwich take the A1075 signposted to Watton.
