SLIM Tech and Security Team is pleased to announce that the Shangri-La Group has a new antivirus @ endpoint security protection solution for all computers and servers.
The transition from current antivirus to this new upgraded MDE protection software is taking place throughout the month of April 2023.
To date, there are over 15K+ out of 20K+ endpoints (computers/servers) have been successfully deployed throughout the Shangri-La group of properties. We are confident that this change will significantly enhance the security of our computers and servers

Sulug Island is the second smallest island (20 acres in size) / sandspit is about (3 to 4 acres)
The most unique feature of Sulug Island is its long sandpit, like an island sticking its tongue out.

TAH celebrated Earth Hour by hosting a complimentary outdoor documentary screening for in-house guests from 7:30pm-9:30pm. This screening was made possible because of TAH's collaboration with Scubazoo, an eco-documentary production company based in Sabah that has worked on Natural History blockbusters such as BBC’s LIFE and Human Planet: Oceans, hit reality shows like Survivor and The Amazing Race.
TAH's long-stay guest and friendfor-13 years Bill Mitchell visited our Embrace beneficiary, Kitobu Inanam Primary School during his recent visit in April. Bill always makes an effort to visit our Embrace beneficiary during his one month holiday in KK. The pupils always greet him with curiosity and smiles as they don’t get to see Caucasians (orang putih) visiting their school!
We make it convenient for our in-house guests to enroll as SLC members with this QR codes and instructions in various languages in a tentcard in the guest rooms.
The tent card is placed inside our guestrooms prior to arrival. On the tent card are the instructions & steps to guide our guest on how to enroll in an efficient manner. The instructions are in 3 languages (English, Korean & Chinese). This initiative was implemented on March 18, 2023
