Shangri-La New Global Wi-Fi Solution

Background & Objectives

In the beginning of this year, Shangri-La IT rolled out the new Wi-Fi solution across China to intercept users to sign-in / enroll SLC during the Wi-Fi connection flow. The objective is to drive SLC member enrolment at this important Wi-Fi touchpoint and land most relevant traffic to view located hotel offers.

The result has been very encouraging with 250k new members enrolled (as of end May 23) across China hotels. After the success they observed in China, Shangri-La IT would like to roll out a similar solution to rest of the world hotels to help drive their BSC target.

TAH will be progressively rolling out the Wi-Fi solution starting from end-Jun 2023.

To mark this year’s World Oceans Day, 35 colleagues came together on 7 June 2023 morning to clean the nearby Tanjung Aru Beach. Our colleagues collected up to 248kg of rubbish from the clean up!

By celebrating World Ocean’s Day, we can help create awareness on the impact of human actions on the ocean and take action to protect our oceans.

Enhance experience for Horizon Club room & Suite occupants celebrating Honeymoon & Anniversary

To enhance the value & experience of the high paying guests who booked for Horizon Club rooms and Suites, Front Office team came up with an idea to include a bottle of wine and a bouquet of roses placed in the room prior to guests' arrival.

We did not forget our guests who booked for normal rooms. A stalk of rose and a greeting card will be placed in their room.

To enhance guest experience and for guest convenience, Chi, The Spa went CASHLESS on 23 June 2023.

On 16 June, Spa colleagues completed 4 days of training by Spa's ADOS Mr. Joshua Tan.

E-foiling is back! starting on June 14th, 2023!!

E-foiling can be booked through Star Marina and is available daily from 9am to 5pm.
