MIU Events presents

Irish Business Aviation Convention Tuesday 27th – Wednesday 28th June 2012 Shannon, Ireland

INTRODUCTION TO THE CONFERENCE Shannon airport, Ireland, is the furthermost point West in Europe and has a long history of innovating and supporting aviation, from the early flying boats to providing US bound aircraft with Customs pre-clearance. In 2011 we ran the Financial Solutions for Business Aviation event in Shannon and this year we are broadening out the subject matter to provide a more comprehensive event which will address all aspects of business aviation relevant to the domestic market and how this fits and impacts elsewhere around the world. The 2012 event will be held at the stunning Dromoland Castle in the beautiful Co Clare countryside, a short ride from the airport, and comprises a two day conference to be held on Wednesday, 27 and Thursday 28 June, followed by a golf tournament or Co Clare tour on Friday, 29 June. There will be an accompanying exhibition for companies supplying and supporting the Irish and international Business Aviation community. In terms of topics covered there will be a variety of sessions dealing with market developments and how the industry is adapting to a period of change. Sessions will address delivering, registering and leasing through an Irish structure; tax planning and structuring deals, asset management; aircraft management; bizav economics; sourcing finance; How OEMs are dealing with a market oversupply; medi-vac and repatriation services; industry analysis; emerging markets and their likely impact on missions and movements; training and MRO initiatives. The event, as last year, will be supported with various networking options designed to enhance the experience of being in Ireland and provide attendees with ample opportunity to mingle with like minded colleagues. Both conference days will finish with a reception and a good helping of Irish hospitality! At the conclusion of Day 1 delegates will be transferred to the famous flying boat museum at Foynes for Irish coffee, drinks, music and entertainment over dinner and will return to the hotels around midnight. The event will close on Thursday evening with a hosted BBQ at a local restaurant and this will also include music and entertainment. The Irish Business Aviation Convention, 2012 event will expand your knowledge of the business aviation market and provide a precise flightpath through the many advantages of delivering, registering and leasing aircraft through an Irish Structure. This is an event geared to the needs of industry professionals and provides hard to access information about the latest trends and thinking in terms of the sector.
