Publication Design
My PCOS Journey January 2017 Publication Design, Logo Design, Campaign Design For my senior thesis I wrote and designed an informational booklet that details Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and my specific journey with having PCOS. It is very common for women to experience hormonal and endocrine issues. Many women are ashamed to address their health issues related to their hormonal and endocrine systems because they believe the issues make them less of a woman. It was my goal to use my designs in order to unite women who are facing similar issues. Over 7 million women have PCOS yet a large amount of the public has never heard of PCOS. I wanted to educate those who have never heard of PCOS as well as make those who do have it know that they are not alone.
Brand Identity Guidelines June 2016 Publication Design I created this publication as brand identity guidelines for myself. This project was created in InDesign. This project was a great way to gain experience designing a publication.

Photography
Resilient Baltimore Photo Series September 2015 Photography This series was taken shortly after the Baltimore Riots. I chose to photograph the word “Resilience” all around Baltimore City. I wanted to explore the way text can be affected by its environment. I chose the word “resilience” because it means the ability to bounce back and I believe Baltimore has the ability to bounce back from any shortcomings. I chose to photograph construction sites as well as areas that were directly impacted by the riots and looting because they are all areas that are in the process of bouncing back from devastation.
