The design project aims to address the issue of affordable housing in Toronto by proposing a unique approach. By creating small, easily scattered houses amidst the densely popu lated areas of the city, the project seeks to make housing more accessible and affordable. These compact yet thoughtfully designed homes offer a practical solution, allowing individuals and families to reside in desirable neighbourhoods without the burden of exor bitant costs. With their strategic placement, these affordable houses contribute to the diversification of housing options and pro mote a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment in Toronto.
These affordable houses can be prefabricated using modular construction methods. This allows for rapid assembly and the potential to create clusters of 2, 4, 8, or 16 units, de pending on the specific needs of the neigh bourhood and available land.

Balcony Gardens: The small garden areas provide residents with a green space to cultivate plants, herbs, and flowers, fostering connection with nature and enhancing the overall livability of the homes.

New Residential Dwelling - Technical Drawings 2022
The residential project I worked on, in collab oration with the lead architect, is a modern two-story house with a basement. As a key contributor, I was responsible for creating the technical architectural drawings necessary for obtaining the required permits.
The drawings encompassed various aspects of the house, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. These drawings showcased the layout and dimensions of the rooms, the placement of doors and windows, the structural components, and the electrical and plumbing systems. By meticulously preparing these drawings, we ensured compliance with building codes and regulations, facilitating a smooth permit application process for this new residential construction.
