In the last few years of her career, Shana developed a passion for working with children. So she began substituting for the Little Rock School District until her untimely death. Shana had a passion for serving those that were less fortunate. She would often give to the homeless and organizations that provided services for those in need. As a member of First Baptist Church, she spent time working with the kitchen ministry, helping prepare and distribute meals for the homeless. It was not uncommon for Shana to give to those less fortunate and in need, often giving assistance to those on street corners. During her spare time Shana was an avid reader. Not only did she enjoy reading but she loved to write and has written two fictional novels. She poured all of her creativity into her novels that she desired for the world to one day enjoy. Shana was a joy to be around and always could bring a smile to your face if you were feeling down. All that knew Shana knows that if she was for you, she was for you! And all those she was for, she made us feel like we were the most important person in the world. However, her heart was her children. Shana was a wonderful and dedicated mother to Aiyanna and Christian. She enjoyed attending and cheering them on at all of their many activities. She loved spending time with her children, her sister Brit, and her niece Monroe (3rd child). She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her.

LOVE NOTE TO MOM
So he put His arms around you and whispered “Come to me”
Hey Mama,
With tearful eyes we watched you as you slowly slipped
I just want you to know that I miss you so much. I didn’t
away and though we loved you dearly we could not make
get to tell you I love you and kiss you. I am definitely going
you stay your golden heart stopped beating your tired
to miss snuggling with you even though you always
hands put to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best..
wanted me to go to my own bed. I am going to miss the talks we would have and you always knew the right things to say to keep me going.
A LITTLE SISTER'S LOVE It’s going to be hard
I never thought in a million years that you would be leaving me so early. I was looking forward to our elder years dealing with our grandchildren together
here without you. Love Ayianna
and hitting the highway as old, sassy ladies living our best lives. It's going to be a lot of lonely nights without our conversations to keep me afloat but I know you will be able to watch my back 100 % from above. I love you always and forever.
FROM CHRISTIAN
Your baby sister Hey Momma,
Britinny
I love you and I will miss you so much. I know we didn’t always see eye to eye but I always knew you had my back. You were my best friend and will always be.
