On the night of the ball the lovely medium height, tanned skinned princess, Cynthia, stood alone on the large stairs running down the middle of the ballroom in a pretty dress. Still daydreaming she waltzed across the room alone to the rhythm of the orchestra in her head; Cynthia came to a sudden halt.
A zebra appeared in the room, kneeling to the ground rubbing the black and white strips for a second; the zebra soon ran off. When she was awaken from her da dream she noticed her fiancÊ’s cousin gazing over her, Cynthia fluttered away.
Over in the corner sitting on a large clock was an old grey fairy that could see everything; even Cynthia’s dreams. She came along and foretold the story of her falling in love with the prince of her dreams betraying her fiancÊ, Ray. Knowing that ever word the fairy predicted was to come true, she also knew that she had only dreamed of a zebra and that she was supposed to get married in a few weeks to a tall slender, dark haired man, she disregarded the old fairy, twirling into a beautiful dress she was to wear to the ball.
Everything was fine as the ball started. She sashayed across the floor with her company and future husband. As Ray began to kiss her, Cynthia was constantly looking over his shoulder focused of something else. A man dressed in a Zebra pint tux was standing behind a large column on the far side of the room, strangely reminding Cynthia of the zebra from her dream.
Cynthia abandoned her fiancĂŠ to go talk to the man. Everyone at the ball looked at her confused because it appeared that she was talking to a zebra, but in her eyes she was talking a handsome man. When she noticed everyone starring at her she glided off to the woods with him.
They met another fairy in the woods that turned out to be evil, Accepting the drink she offered to keep him human forever, the new couple danced into the sunset dreaming to live happily ever after but when the clock hit Midnight, The prince died.
Following the love of his life into the woods, Ray tripped over a log and completely lost him memory. When Cynthia saw his, she rushed to give him a hug and apologize about what happened but he didn’t remember her at all. Looking up at the sky he saw a beautiful nymph and instantly fell in love with her. Cynthia thought she was going to forever be alone so she found the sharpest branch she could find and stabbed herself to death.
