ST RAAVFELSE Colombia COVID-19 Requirements International travelers who enter Colombia must present a negative PCR test carried out within 96 hours before the flight. If you don't have the PCR test, you can verbally state that you had difficulty taking this test at the place of origin. Once entering the country, the traveler must take the test and keep preventive isolation until obtaining a negative result for COVID-19 or make mandatory isolation for 14 days or during the term indicated by the health authority.
If I need a COVID-19 test to leave the country, what is the procedure in Colombia? Since some countries in the world are asking for PCR tests with a negative diagnosis up to 96 hours from the collection of the sample, the Ministry of Health has established the test guidelines. To take the test, travelers who are going to leave Colombian territory may approach private and public laboratories authorized by the National Institute of Health -INS- for PCR samples. There you must present your ticket and pay for the test with your own financial resources. SUMMARY 1. Get a COVID-19 PCR test 96 hours within your departure. The test is required by both airlines and migration authorities. 2. If you are unable to get tested before traveling, you can do so upon arrival in Colombia and remain in lockdown until your result comes back negative. If you choose not to get tested, you’ll be required to carry out a 14-day lockdown. 3. Fill out Check-Mig 24 hours before your flight in order to be allowed to enter or leave the country.
