Shape Architecture has gained planning permission for a side extension, pod room and internal refurbishment at St Dionis Road, Fulham. The addition of a side extension has allowed the kitchen to increase in size to become a light and airy kitchen and dining space. In addition, a private study room with large rooflight over has also been created. At the rear façade a much larger glazed sliding folding door has been added and alongside the opening up of the interior this has provided a much improved visual and physical connection with the garden. The creation of a Pod Room has provided space for an additional family bathroom. Further internal refurbishment will also improve the sense of space and light within the interior.
