The story of the
CJE logo
The logo mark is an abstract representation of a pomegranate and its 613 seeds which represent our 613 lifetime mitzvot or commandments. The pomegranate is of major significance in Jewish theology and history. The eighteen colorful seeds underscore the importance of the word Life (“chai”) in our name, the diversity of our staff and the diversity of our programs. In the secular world, pomegranates are considered one of the most nutritious of all fruits, carrying critical antioxidants that combat against disease and promote healthy aging. Our brand identity is a colorful and positive affirmation of aging and reflects our agency’s mission and values.
