Offers individuals with early-stage memory loss an opportunity to participate in day trips to various cultural sites and events in metropolitan Chicago and nearby suburbs. Participants enjoy a kaleidoscope of programs and interactive experiences that may include visits to art galleries, nature and historical sites, spiritual centers and more. This engaging, structured program includes:

Adult Day Services

Docent-guided tours of exhibits and venues. Creative self-expression activities. Lunch at local restaurants. Planned and supervised by trained staff and volunteers.

CJE has been a trusted name in senior care for over 40 years. Our network of supportive resources and healthcare — such as Counseling, Care Management, Transportation and dementia and Parkinson’s expertise — can be accessed for a seamless and extensive continuum of care.

CJE’s Adult Day Services (ADS) programs provide older adults with stimulating, structured programs in a supportive group setting. We strive to maximize the potential of each participant, helping to improve his or her quality of life while giving caregivers a much-needed respite.

Our Adult Day Services provides stimulating structured programs in an inspiring and supportive setting. At ADS Evanston, we consider the special needs of the individual when designing programs. Participants benefit from unique activities such as sensory experiences, physical activities, intergenerational events, entertainment, celebrations, discussion and reminiscence groups, while families receive a much needed respite.

A supervised, structured and enriching program for older adults with early- to mid-stage Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Our professionally-trained staff facilitates activities that stimulate the mind and body, maximize each participant’s potential and instills a sense of autonomy, creativity and self-esteem. Open to Weinberg residents and the general public. This program features:

For persons with early stage memory loss, CJE Sinai is tailored to each participant’s interests and general well-being. Our experienced staff and volunteers engage participants and their peers in stimulating activities for self-expression, cognitive enhancement, physical wellness and socialization in a supportive environment. Can be combined with other CJE Adult Day Services programs. A well-structured program in which participants enjoy:

We offer participants structure and support. With our creative, holistic approach to adult day programming, our staff engages the whole person – mind, body and spirit – by integrating memory support, health and wellness, physical activities and creative arts therapies into each day’s activities.

Cover artwork from a Creative Arts Therapy class. Participants work with Creative Arts Therapists to convey their feelings through art. Our many Creative Arts Therapy forms—visual art, music, drama and dance—help strengthen and regain participants’ sense of self and restore their dignity and wholeness.
