“Tristan Lang served in the Army 3d ACR from 2003-2007 out of Fort Carson, CO. He was deployed twice to Iraq and served a year in Korea.

When Tristan was on his 2nd tour in Iraq, he was driving the pilot Humvee in a patrol when a Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) went off (this was the 5th time he was involved in an IED). His vehicle was engulfed in flames and thankfully he survived. Tristan is the recipient of the Purple Heart, Army Compensation, Army Achievement, Army Good Conduct, as well as other medals.

After the Army, Tristan worked at the Everett Veterans Center as a work study helping other veterans get VA counseling and medical appts. The VA offers a loan program to Vets with 0 down and no mortgage insurance premium (MIP) and Tristan is excited to now be looking for his first home.
