Two Centers Temporarily Closed
Out of an abundance of caution for children and staff, the Agency switched to virtual services at Hopkins-Locke and Griswold on Nov. 16.
In person classes continued at all our other centers, but we are certainly glad we cherished every moment (see poem above) with our students and families at the two largest centers.
Families were notified Thursday, Nov. 12 and have received information on how to participate in virtual classes. Head Start staff have been working with all families on Internet and other accessibility issues.
The current plan is to have Hopkins-Locke and Griswold children return, along with everyone else, after Winter Break on Jan. 7.
