Celebrating Mom Adelynn McQuaig gets a jump start on a Mother’s Day gift for her mom by participating in Saturday’s Kids Containers for Mother’s Day event hosted at Hornbaker Gardens in rural Princeton. Area businesses around Bureau County are offering special Mother’s Day gifts and opportunities, ranging from flowers and candy, to massages and fitness classes, dinner specials and more. Homemade cards and poems are always another option and are almost certain to find a place on the front of the family refrigerator. Regardless of the gift chosen for this Mother’s Day on Sunday, Bureau County residents of all ages are encouraged to remember their mothers, as well as other important women in their lives, with words of appreciation and love.
