Village of Burlington
Burlington he Village of Burlington was incorporated in 1906 and is a village with a strong sense of community. Burlington marked its beginnings with a Ttavern in 1840, a post office in 1846, a general store in 1847 and finally incorporated in 1906. On the growth horizon are many opportunities for
Burlington. Burlington is a quaint, rural community interested in economic development and has a positive image for growth while maintaining the
“small-town” character. It is home to 26 businesses and 668 residents.
Improvements to the Village of Burlington have progressed from the alignment of Plank Road and its first stop light, the resurfacing of Main Street, and total reconditioning of the water tower. Growth is imminent and the
Village of Burlington is preparing for all potential growth and looking forward to opportunities to expand while maintaining its small town character.
