Founder Ryan Keutzer’s passion for working with historic buildings goes back to her childhood growing up in a small town outside of Charleston, South Carolina.

A graduate of Clemson University and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, she gained experience working for architects in Illinois and South Carolina before launching her own firm in Charleston, South Carolina in 2015. In 2016, she brought her experience, vision and her family to the Illinois Valley.

Her philosophy is you get out of your community what you are willing to give and is currently a member of the Princeton Rotary Club and the Princeton Area Chamber board of directors. She is the former founding chairwoman of the City of Princeton Historic Preservation Commission, served on the Main Street Revitalization Committee and most recently wrapped up her term on the Bureau County Historical Society board of directors.
