Cary Cruise Nights

McHenry County’s oldest Cruise Night! Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in 2023! Come to downtown Cary for a thrilling weekly car show with a different theme each week, music and family fun! Runs every Wednesday night, June through August. Hosted by the CaryGrove Area Chamber of Commerce.

Holiday Happenings

Each season, Cary and Fox River Grove have a host of holiday happenings for local families to enjoy. Ring in the holidays with great community celebrations including the annual tree lighting in Fox River Grove and the Merry Cary Parade and Festival in downtown Cary on the first Sunday of December. Hosted by the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Fox River Grove Special Events Committee.

Memorial Day Parades

Start summer with a traditional Memorial Day parade in both Cary and Fox River Grove. Hundreds of community residents line the streets to celebrate together.

Wear your red, white and blue to celebrate American independence with fireworks and a fantastic community celebration. Fireworks displays are held on different days in both Cary and Fox River Grove.

Annual Golf Outing

Enjoy and opportunity for a great day on the links in August with fellow Chamber members and businesses. Hosted by the CaryGrove Area Chamber of Commerce.

Halloween Walks

Come to Cary and Fox River Grove for this “spooktacular” Halloween tradition. Costumed children and families parade past local businesses that hand out treats and goodies. Walks are held at the Jewel-Osco shopping centers in both Cary and Fox River Grove the Saturday before Halloween. Hosted by the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

Norge Ski Hill in Fox River Grove is the oldest, continuously open, ski club in the country. The annual jumping competitions in winter and fall draw huge crowds to Fox River Grove.
