ThebuildingalongRoute84,adjacenttothe villagepark,hassatemptysinceearlierthisyear when Subs2GowassoldandrelocatedtoThomson.Nowit’stakingshapeasabusinesswith amplefloorandwallspaceforavarietyofgoods thataresuretokeepthriftshopperscomingback.
KatieandShaneGallagheraretheentrepreneurialcouplebehindthebusiness.Shegrewup inAlbany,withherchildhoodhomevisiblefrom theshop.Nowtheyliveontheoutskirtsoftown withtwoyoungchildrenandabevyofcats,dogs, chickensandducks.Shaneworksasanengineer andKatieworksathomeandcoachesgymnasticsonceaweek.Sheexpectstobeworkingatthe shopforthemostpart,thoughshehasfamily andfriendstocallontohelp.
