LCCOA OUTREACH
LCCOA Outreach: Here to help
It is time to think about renewing your ITAC phone (phones for the hearing impaired). LCCOA volunteers will be making phone calls regarding renewal of your ITAC phones. This is not a scam. The phones are free, and they are renewable every 3 years. If you missed your renewal date, don’t worry, you can still renew.
Questions you will be asked when the volunteer calls:
How is your phone working?
Did you like the phone you chose? If you do like your phone, would you like a new one, (same model if available). If you would to keep your existing phone, and receive a new one, LCCOA will send you a renewal form to sign.
Final question: would you like to set up an appointment to try new phones? LCCOA is here to assist you in securing the best phone for your needs.
Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D ( Drug program)
Open Enrollment begins Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7. LCCOA will begin setting appointments starting Aug. 1. Once you have set your appointment we will send you a form to complete, and to include all your prescription drugs, dosage and quantity. We will need this information returned to LCCOA two weeks before your appointment. LCCOA will continue to have phone appointments for those seniors that are unable to come into the Senior Center; for those seniors who are not vaccinated, please inform our staff when setting your appointment.
We look forward to seeing all our seniors, if you have any questions please contact us at 815-288-9236
