Greetings and Salutations, 2024, Debutantes:
You have moved from declarations to demonstrations. You are leading by example. Patterns you have followed and established by your families will equip you to enter this phase of your lives with the virtues, visions, and values that will become more apparent in days to come. You will develop more and more through the crucible of time as gems that shine and reflect life's lessons through perseverance and pageantry.
Today, as you debut into society, we celebrate you and the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. We honor your courage, congeniality, and control of yourselves. Congratulations on this step into prominence and promotion.
As the 66th mayor of the City of Waycross, it is with honor that I commend and congratulate you.
Best regards,
Dr. Michael-Angelo James, Mayor
