I love my life here in Calgary! I enjoy the outdoors and travelling. As for me, I am a wee bit obsessed with photography and that is why I love my job so much. I have been a professional photographer for over 17 years specializing in boudoir and weddings. I do my own boudoir session every year as I like to walk the walk and talk the talk. I also love how they make me feel! I like to have fun at sessions, so don’t be embarrassed as I get a little silly to make sure you take your mind off of being nervous I hope to capture you as you are! My number one goal is that you are comfortable in front of the camera!

She will answer all of your questions and is busy getting all our sessions and life in general organized and running smoothly! She has been in the photography industry for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. Brandy enjoys getting to know each client and their personal story. She believes all women should try a boudoir session at least once in their lives to open their world to the sexiness & confidence within them! She’s thrilled that she gets to introduce women to the art of Boudoir every single day! This gorgeous woman is a major force in the company and does SO much behind-the-scenes work to keep this business running smoothly. about the studio
We are happy to welcome you to our beautiful studio space in the South East of Calgary. This wonderfully cozy studio is filled with creative energy, consisting of 7 gorgeous areas that ooze femininity. We also have a gorgeous staircase of which there is a beautiful 9 foot long chandelier specifically for boudoir. There is also a piazza with beautiful french doors! Our studio is fully equipped with air conditioning, music throughout, natural & artificial lighting, gorgeous furniture, and a myriad of props and backdrops.

stimulating energy to create many more masterpieces.
urban
An Urban session will take you to a location that is just minutes from the studio. It includes spray painted concrete walls and railway tracks. This session is hip, fun & sexy . . . so enjoy!
country
An orchard, barn, or field portrays a country setting best. I would describe these images as whimsical and dreamy. I have locations near the studio that are just a short drive away. They are in a private setting and will make for romantic, magical photography. You can view some outdoor sessions on our blog.

First of all, it’s lots of fun! It’s a stress-free experience and we do our best to make you feel comfortable during the photo session. Our spacious and bright studio has a serene and relaxing atmosphere, making the experience private and unique. Feel free to share your visions and dreams with us and we will do our best to capture them! We will guide you throughout each and every step of the way, from what type of clothing and accessories you can wear and bring with you to the studio, how to prepare for the shoot and pose in front of a camera during the session, to choosing the best images and products to suit the occasion. Brandy, our studio manager, will work with you so that you can figure out what look you would like to achieve. That way we also have more time to prepare the equipment and ourselves for the look both you and us, want to achieve. Dawnelle and Shawna are always within reach and you can email or call us if you have any questions or concerns. Our main goal is to make you feel as confident and relaxed for the photo session as possible, as that is a sure way to get fantastic results!

From the gentle young bud of a woman in her 20’s, to the one who knows her body in there 30’s, to the one who knows her body and should in her 40’s, to the beautiful liberated lady in the full bloom of fifties; celebrating her soul, womanhood and character in her 60’s - we enjoy photographing and capturing the beauty of all these moments, while creating beautiful artwork to be enjoyed forever.
do you edit the photographs?

Yes, we do artistic editing as well as light airbrushing - Shawna is a professional photo editor and can get rid of complex problems such as unwanted cellulite, heavy stretch-marks, and other little things you wouldn’t want to see in the photos. Please let us know if you have specific editing requests.

To secure your session time and date, a non-refundable session fee is required. Professional makeup is included in all of our session fees. Depending on your session fee choice, we will photograph the number of looks (outfit changes) included. After your session is over you will leave the studio and come back in approximately 1.5 hours for your reveal. This is where you will see your images and purchase your products!
how should i prepare for the shoot? Once you book your session date, we will send you or basic Preparation Guide to help you get organized for your session. We suggest to have your regular pampering routine done a few days before the shoot, which may include manicure, pedicure, to getting your hair done (colour), etc. Try to avoid getting plastic surgery or any kind of facials before the photo shoot since it might greatly affect the final results. Try to give your face or body at least 4 weeks time to heal before coming in for a photo shoot. We ask that you do not get a spray tan due to the possibility of poor coverage areas becoming evident, turning your skin orange, requiring extra editing or rubbing off on the furniture, bedding, etc.
the women you shoot, are they all models?

Almost all of our clients are regular people who have no experience in modelling and have never been photographed professionally before. Some of our clients come in as timid and shy girls and leave as energized and confident women who got a chance to express their inner sensuality in a new and exciting way. We photograph only for our clients and our goal as artists is to make each woman feel beautiful and appreciated for her uniqueness, regardless of their body type, size, height or experience in the modeling field.
how soon after the photo shoot will i be able to see the images?

After your session is over you will leave the studio and come back in approximately 1.5 hours for your reveal. This is where you will see your images and purchase your products!
how soon after the viewing session will i receive my photos? Once we place the order with our printing lab, it takes approximately 14 - 18 days

what should I wear for my boudoir photo shoot? Your photo shoot wardrobe can be composed of everyday things, such as sweaters and tank tops, and/or more glamorous lingerie and corsets. Items we always recommend to bring are high heels, stockings, thongs, bodysuits, bustiers and bras with good support. From classic black to soft pastels to bridal white to bright neon hues, also lace and silk look great on every body type. Prepare a wardrobe that suits and flatters your body type. Make sure all items fit you well. Once you are booked we will send you our welcome magazine that will help you create your look as well. We also have a Shopping Guide which will provide you with recommendations for local lingerie stores and we will even provide you with discounts!! We encourage our clients to bring as many wardrobe items as they want, regardless of the number of looks in their package, so that we can experiment and mix and match items to put together the most suitable outfits. Shawna has an exceptional styling and fashion sense, so you can fully rely on her advice!

The day of your photo shoot is the time for you to shine and look your very best! That’s why all of our packages include a professional makeup service, as it is an integral part of the preparation process so that you are camera ready. Our 4 amazing artists are talented and experienced and will enhance your natural beauty and conceal anything that is unwanted (blemishes, uneven skin tone, etc). Basic hair styling is also very important to the final results. One of the most complimentary hair styles for boudoir photography is soft and romantic waves. Our professionals are experts in creating such a look.

Our retouching philosophy is to stay away from unnecessary and excessive photoshopping. Our magazine quality retouching techniques are there to gently and subtly emphasize and enhance your most beautiful angles and conceal anything that takes away from your beauty (blemish, uneven skin tone, a distracting skin fold, cellulite, etc). WHAT
to EXPECT
One of the first considerations is scheduling. We always suggest that our ladies book 8 - 10 weeks before their big event whether it’s a wedding, birthday, holiday, or anniversary. This ensures we have plenty of time to plan, shoot, and of course for you to receive your purchased album, products, and goodies. When you are ready to book, we will work together closely to prepare you for your session. We will always start with a phone consultation (if required) to make sure we have the same vision for your session. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this meeting since it makes the shoot go a lot more smoothly. After our meeting we will have you create an inspiration board on Pinterest. This board will help our makeup artist and Shawna get a better feeling of what you want out of your session - from hair and makeup looks to clothing styles.

premier ORDERING SESSION
At your reveal/viewing session this is when the real fun begins. This is the moment you get to see yourself all dolled up and through the magic of the lens. Shawna or Brandy will spend some time with you oohing over your images before before you pick out which ones that you want (and which ones that you need!!). We then work together to make sure that you receive the album, products and prints that you desire. This is also when you will place your order. Clients can spend anywhere from $575 to $1500 plus on their boudoir products. We offer payment plans for clients who don’t want their partner to question purchases on their credit or bank statement and it transaction will show up as Infinite Corp, not Tease Boudoir. Many of our clients book their session so that they can surprise their significant! We offer 4 different album sizes; metal prints, retro hottie viewfinder (don’t worry we will explain each and every one of these goodie at your reveal), and many other beautiful products.
