16th February Robert Newman’s Total Eclipse of Descartes In a world gone mad can Philosophy help? Rob *thinks*…he has the answer. A show about philosophy, science and how orthodox thinkers can be catastrophically wrong. Fresh from his BBC Radio 4 series of the same name, Rob attempts to piece together a philosophy for our troubled times by sifting through three thousand years of thought: from Pythagoras to Artificial Intelligence, by way of Pavlov’s dogs, Jane Goodall’s chimpanzees and Frankie Howerd’s trousers. Acclaimed author, comedian and political activist, he appeared alongside David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis in The Mary Whitehouse Experience.
16th February Mat Ricardo Vs The World
18th February Mama G’s Story Time Roadshow
Award-winning cabaret star Mat Ricardo had a problem – after a 30-year career as the go-to guy for jaw-dropping dexterity, he’d run out of new tricks. So he did something stupid. He bet everyone in the world that he could learn any trick they could think of.
Direct from appearances in the USA and Canada, Mama G brings her Story Time Roadshow to Camberley! Combining panto, drag and the art of storytelling this all-singing, partial-dancing extravaganza is filled with stories about being who you are and loving who you want. Let Mama G introduce you to her range of wonderful characters: confused horses, feuding fairies, twerk deniers and... Oprah, in stories that will make the whole family think, laugh and love.
He devoted the next year attempting to learn them well enough to perform in front of a live audience, in his new show “Mat Ricardo vs The World”. This is a one-man variety show – world-class juggling, magic and illusion, escapology, sleight of hand, knife throwing, stand-up comedy, feats of strength, demonstrations of dexterity, and the only good trick that exists with a fidget spinner. Ages 10+. This show takes place in our function room with unreserved seating.
There may even be a twerking competition - so get practicing! Perfect for age 5+. This show takes place in our function room with unreserved seating.

Captain’s daughter, Josephine, is torn between family loyalty and her love for a member of her father’s crew. Will true love triumph in the face of insurmountable social and class barriers? Will her socially ambitious father force her to marry an inept but powerful Cabinet Minister? Can love really level all ranks? Will the merry bells on board ship be ringing out for a wedding? If so, whose will it be? The Savoy Singers celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a sparklingly new and original production of this Gilbert and Sullivan comic masterpiece. This Golden Jubilee production fizzes with fun throughout, and promises to be pure gold entertainment from start to finish!

The Camberley Theatre Bar is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink both before the show and during the interval. Don’t forget you can avoid the queue by pre-ordering your interval drinks on arrival.
Hi,i I’m Kayleigh and I look after our bar and H hospitality services here at the theatre. There is ho aalways al lw a great atmosphere in the bar area before a sshow and it’s a good chance to h meet me up u with friends or wind down from the day before heading in to see one of our fantastic shows. We also have a great range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to suit all tastes! My top tip: The bar opens an hour before the performance time but is usually busiest in the 15 minutes before the start. Arriving earlier means less time waiting and more time to relax in our dedicated lounge area! 18
