Resplendent in their trademark crepe shoes and neon coloured teddy boy suits, the band promises to deliver an adrenaline fuelled nostalgic treat. The King and I, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein’s 1951 Broadway musical hit, is based on Margaret Landon’s book Anna and the King of Siam. An English widow, Anna Leonowens, comes to Siam in the 1860s to tutor the many wives and children of the country’s progressive king. Through Anna, the King learns the customs and responsibilities of “modern” western civilization; Anna meanwhile comes to realise how important it is for an Oriental ruler to maintain his pride and to uphold the traditions of his people.

The members of both the Camberley Rock Choirs will perform, sing and dance for an evening of music and fun at Camberley theatre to raise money for The Lisa May Foundation.

Internationally renowned Queen Tribute band The Bohemians return with a new tour, new costumes, new production, and a new set to take you back to the early 70’s through to the Magic of ‘86.

Choir The Camberley Rock Choirs are part of the national phenomenon known as Rock Choir. Rehearsals are great fun and give the members the opportunity to sing in harmony parts, their favourite Pop and Rock tracks.

Bohemians Remember the long hair, the big winged shirts, even the harlequin leotards of ’77? Yes? The Bohemians take you back to the decade that taste forgot! The show takes you through the years of Queen’s Greatest Live Performances ending in grand style and pomp as you would expect from any of Queen’s magnificent live shows.

Local author Murray Rowlands will draw on his research for his book Aldershot in the Great War to be published by Pen and Sword later in the year to describe the upheaval in people’s lives caused by WW1. He will illustrate his talk with photos taken in the period and seek to trace the lives of some individuals caught up in the maelstrom.

Blood Brothers tells the story of Mickey and Edward, two brothers separated at birth, brought together again through friendship. However, the truth behind their bond remains a closely guarded secret.

Based on the story by Charles Dickens, this show is an entertaining re-telling of this classic tale through drama and song. Full of colourful characters such as the loveable rogue Artful Dodger and the wily Fagin, our Youth Theatre will vividly bring this story to life. Suitable for all the family.

Moving through adolescence and into adulthood, the brothers’ lives continue to intertwine, although deep divisions between the privileged life of Edward and Mickey’s poverty-stricken existence put the two on very different paths. When the two find themselves fighting for the affections of Linda, Mickey’s childhood sweetheart, Mickey takes drastic action against his twin which will ultimately expose their true identities.
