Follow the popular and peaceful canal towpath looking for wildlife along the way. Meet outside Frimley Lodge Café, Frimley Lodge Park, GU16 6HY.

Join us for a gentle walk along charming lanes and woodland behind Bagshot. There are a few trees to cross on this route. Meet in Bagshot Playing Field Association Car Park GU19 5EN, but please park along College Ride.

An hours trek through Swinley Forest to The Lookout for refreshments before the return journey. Meet outside St. Anne’s Church, Bagshot, GU19 5EQ.

B ISLEY

Gentle 1 hour, 2.5 miles Escape the noise of the main road and discover the woods, fields and lanes of rural Bisley. There are a few stiles to cross on this route. Meet at Shaftesbury Road Car Park, Bisley, GU24 9ER

Moderate 1 hour, 2.5 miles

Challenging 2 hours, 5 miles

BLAC KWATE R PA RK Moderate 2.5 hours, 8 miles

Following the winding Blackwater Valley Path from the Meadows to Horseshoe Lake, you’ll be grateful of the refreshment stop at a local pub along the way! Meet in Blackwater Station Car Park GU17 9AB.

BROOKWOOD TO BISLEY Moderate 2 hours, 6 miles

Starting at Brookwood Station, this walk goes through Bisley Rifle Association, Pirbright Army Camp and a refreshment stop at the camp’s SPAR shop before returning to Brookwood. Free parking on Sundays. Meet at Brookwood Railway Station, Connaught Road, GU24 0ER.

HAWLEY (MINLEY) LA KE Moderate 1.5 hours, 3.75 miles

B LAC KWAT E R MEAD OWS Gentle 1 hour, 2.5 miles

Follow the meandering course of the River Blackwater and stroll through pleasant meadows. Meet at Admiralty Way Car Park, GU15 3DT.

C HO B HAM P L ACE WOODS

Hidden away on the outskirts of the Borough but well worth a visit! Wandering along man made tracks, through trees and circling the lake, you won’t just visit the once! Meet opposite the entrance to Hawley Lake Sailing Club, (near the Crown and Cushion pub), GU17 9LP.

Gentle 1 hour, 2.5 miles

Moderate 1 hour, 2.5 miles

If you’ve not discovered this place; you’re missing out! Secluded woodland, quiet lanes and open expanses of heathland await. Meet outside Chobham Place Woods, Valley End Road, GU24 8TA.

Walk through the varied landscape of this breathtaking Country Park and beyond. Lots to see and explore; you’ll never get bored of the scenery. Meet at the Café, GU18 5RG.

Gentle 1.5 hours, 2.5 miles This pleasant walk takes in open heathland, mixed woodland and quiet lanes. Meet at Turf Hill Car Park, Guildford Road, Lightwater, GU18 5SW.

ASH VA L E - R I V ER AND CA N AL N O RT H /S OUTH Moderate 2.5 Hours, 7 Miles

A circular walk from Ash Vale along the Blackwater River Path, including a refreshment break. Meet outside main entrance (ticket office) of North Camp railway station, Aldershot GU12 5QA. There is free on road parking near the station.

MYTC HETT RA NGES

The moderate climb to the top of the ranges will all be worth it when you see the view! Meet outside Frimley Lodge Café, Frimley Lodge Park, GU16 6HY.

QU E E NS AV E NU E TO ASH VA LE Moderate 2 hours, 5.5 miles

A circular walk along the canal and river paths with a refreshment stop at Ash Vale. Meet at the free car park near the junction of Queens Avenue and Princes Avenue, Aldershot GU11 2LB.

WILDMOOR HEATH Moderate 2 hours, 6 miles

Enjoy a choice of walks through heathland, meadow and woodland taking in Wildmoor Heath, the Devil’s Highway and Broadmoor before stopping for coffee. There are 3 stiles on this walk Meet at Wildmoor Heath Car Park, RG45 7PP.

BASIN G STO KE CA N A L TO B R O O KWO O D Challenging 3 hours, 8 miles

A chance to pass the 14 Deepcut locks and return via Mytchett Ranges and Tunnel Hill with a refreshment stop along the way. Meet at Frimley Lodge Park Café, Frimley Lodge Park, GU16 6HY.

FR IM LEY FU E L A LLOTME N TS Challenging 1.25 hours, 3 miles

A walk alongside a golf course and through woodland with two relatively long steep ascents and one steep descent. Meeting at Pine Ridge Golf Club car park (Old Bisley Road, Frimley, Camberley GU16 9NX). Park in the overflow area at the far end of the car park.

H O R SESH O E LA KE TO EVE R SLEY Challenging 2.5 hours, 6 miles

This walk will explore a different section of the Blackwater Valley Path including a refreshment stop. With a choice of routes to be decided on the day, there’ll be something new to see each time. Meet at Horseshoe Lake, Mill Lane, Sandhurst, GU47 8JW.
