From the desk of the executive director We are excited to end this year with a bang! This year during Shop Small Saturday I had the pleasure of surprising local shoppers throughout Sheboygan County with free Chamber Cash as they were patronizing our local business members. It was great fun to visit so many members and bring smiles to shoppers faces. $1,000 in Chamber Cash was given away and we are hoping for an even larger giveaway in 2022. Deidre Martinez We are preparing for our Economic Outlook Breakfast on January 20, 2022 and need your help. We’ve launched the Economic Outlook Survey but want to make sure that your voice is heard. Have you participated in the survey? Click here to complete the survey now!
We are also thrilled for the Chamber Champions Gala 2022 and to celebrate 2021 successes on February 10th, 2022, at the illustrious Osthoff Resort. Please be sure to nominate and remember you can nominate more than one business and more than one category. New category this year, MVP of the Team! If you have an employee that has really gone above and beyond, given more than 100% and really made an impact on your team this year, be sure to nominate them. Submit your nominations here!

Molly, Coastal YPN Liaison Happy December! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you ate yourself into your stretchy pants! Around this time, I feel it is very important to acknowledege everything and everyone in our lives. I am very thankful for a Chamber Community that is supportive and kind to one another. Everyone always asks why I chose to stay in Sheboygan and my answer is always the people. So, thank you all for bringing positive energy and smiles into our office. It truly brightens our day! Our Coastal Community is ever-growing, and we need your help! Do you know Molly Talaska someone who would be a good fit in our network? Do you know someone looking to get more involved in the Young Professional community? We are looking for more people to join our network as well as add new input to your YP Committee. We are looking to add three more motivated people to our committee and bring in fresh ideas to continue to attract and retain young professionals to boost Sheboygan County. If you know someone or have someone in mind that would be interested, please send them my way! I am happy to meet for lunch, coffee or even a cocktail to discuss what being on the committee would entail. May you all have a happy and healthy holiday, and I will see you in the new year! Cheers Chamber nation!
MEET veronica valdez, reception and member services! I am eager for a transition from Health and Safety Consulting to Reception and Member Services with the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce. I am excited to be the first face our guests and members see when they walk through the door. I am also here to serve our existing members with Chamber Master assistance. Lastly, I will continue to serve on our YP Committee and can’t wait for 2022’s events. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop on in and say, “Hello!” When I am not working, I truly enjoy spending time with family and friends, and “playing outside.” As a Sheboygan native I have had the privilege to enjoy our fresh water and beautiful sunrises. You can catch me paddle boarding and kayaking. I am looking forward to snowboarding szn, along with hitting our local trails for some good ole cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
