First Friday Forum: Candidates for the Congressional District #6 & Assembly District #2 11:30AM

A Letter From the President As August is here and the Covid-19 pandemic continues to be a part of our daily lives, we have to remember what we have done to navigate through the challenges. We are strong, resilient, agile and creative and that is just what is needed as we advance forward each day.

We may be blindsided at times with what life brings us. Furthermore, we may not always be able to solve all our businesses problems all at Martha VandeLeest once. However, we must not underestimate the impact we can have on each other’s lives because the past has shown us that our strengths can be contagious. I hope August brings you new ideas and new opportunities as the Chamber continues to move into September with new and creative solutions to bring our members together (while avoiding mass gatherings).

2020, the year of perpetual change! August is upon us and at every turn we are met with change. It’s tough, it’s scary and it’s frustrating. Thankfully we are members of a community that cares, that is helpful and that is supportive of one another. Let us be the change Sheboygan County. Let us be the kindness in a world of hate and let us be the calm in a world of chaos. Author Nanette Avery said, “Talk is cheap, voting is free; take it to the polls.”

The Sheboygan County Best Under 40 Awards Dinner “in person” event has unfortunately been cancelled, but we are still very excited to recognize all of our Best Under 40 nominees through a virtual awards show. With COVID-19 rules and regulations continually changing, we Molly Talaska are changing this event as our Chamber has only our Members best interest at heart. chamber member Testimonial “Our Sheboygan Chamber membership has always been a great value. The Focal Points, First Friday Forums, Roundtables and After Hour events have been worth much more than the cost of our membership. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Sheboygan County Chamber has been invaluable with information on financial help, government programs and health care in our area. A business cannot afford NOT to have membership in the Sheboygan County Chamber! - David Zimmermann, Zimmermann Company
