Kangaroo Works on Trafalgar Street will be a large residential space with 364 modern apartments.

Overlooking the Peace Gardens on Pinstone Street, the new Radisson Blu hotel is a 154-room hotel featuring a rooftop bar.

PhotoElshaw House, close to Wellington Street, is said to be the city’s first net carbon-ready building, meaning it will contribute to the ambitions of a greener and more sustainable city centre. The building, which is nearing completion, will offer over 70,000 sq.ft. of office space.

Work includes landscaping and greening, a cultural events venue (Event Central) and a front door scheme to upgrade access improvements to several premises. Chapel Walk will also benefit.

The Council has recently agreed a lease with Urban Splash who will regenerate the building.
