STREET STYLE With fall quickly approaching, our photographers took to the streets of Ann Arbor to show how fellow students are transitioning from their summer styles to back-to-school attire. This issue focuses on what influences fashion choices as we make room for new routines, capturing everything from business fits to casual class looks. By combining past summer projects with fall shoots, we hope to provide a glimpse into some of the most captivating looks from these different seasons of style. — Lucy Carpenter, Street Style Editor

NATE DALTON @natedltn “This isn’t exactly how I expected my walk to the library to go...”

KAITLIN HERMANSON @kaitlinhermanson “I like the idea of not having a ton of things and making sure they’re all versatile. I think if you have lots of basics that you can switch up and style different ways – that’s definitely the move.”

EMMA DEVRIES @emmaadevries “I like comfy and cozy styles for back to school. I want to be comfortable throughout the day but also feel like myself. In general, I like plain and simple styles but every once in a while I like to go for something more fun and throw in some sequins or sparkle, making me feel a little brighter. Whatever I choose, I like it to be me.

ANNA RIEGLER @annalriegler “I’m most confident when I’m comfortable, and I like to buy used clothes as much as possible. Shorts and a graphic shirt from Goodwill and I’m set for summer, back to school, and life.”

LUCY SOHR @lucysohr “My style is about what makes me feel good. I don’t pay much attention to the trends, just whatever vibe I’m feeling that day. It’s all about what makes me feel like me!”

DYLAN GENOUW @dylan_genouw “Day-to-day my style is 110% inspired by Ariana Grande. For more business looks, I love to pair a good patterned shirt with a bright, solid blazer.”

MEGAN ROSSITER @meg_rossiter “I really like minimalist fashion and I pretty much only wear neutral tones... I guess I just like things to be stylish yet simple.
