The July Membership Luncheon, hosted by the Education Workgroup and sponsored by Legacy Community Federal Credit Union, will feature a presentation by Dr. Tommy Bice, State Superintendent of the Alabama Department of Education. Dr. Bice will focus on the importance that all Shelby County students are adequately prepared in our
K-12 classrooms to succeed in their pursuit of higher education and/ or to enter our modern workforce through Alabama’s College and Career Ready Standards. The luncheon will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on July 30 at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena, 500 Amphitheater Road, Pelham. Investment is $20 members, $30 “Future” members. RSVP is
