Cupcakes Please

Bert’s Desserts Bert Carter, who is named after her grandmother, makes the best everything: cupcakes, pound cake (my favorite), chicken salad and more. This new Alabaster business gives back to the community, and Bert’s husband AC played football at Alabama.

For Fresh Produce

Burnette Farms Market I love fresh foods, and Burnette Farmers Market has an amazing variety, with arm fresh produce, yummy desserts, beautiful plants and more. Stop by for lunch or just shop their market for so many things. I highly recommend their poppyseed chicken casserole—delicious!

Family Outings

Caroline’s Cart Accessible Retailers Having a child with special needs, accessibility and inclusion are especially important to us, and we shop at retailers that offer Caroline’s Cart—Target, Lowes, Publix and Walmart—all in Alabaster. We created Caroline’s Cart so families like ours can include their older child or adult with disabilities in a family shopping outing.

Family Memories

Evangel Classical Christian School One of the reasons my husband and I moved to Alabaster was for our three children to attend Evangel Classical Christian School. We love ECCS and are proud that Shelby County offers a classical Christian education.

Paint Your Own

Party Art This “paint your own” place in Pelham has just about anything you can think of. Whether you War Eagle or Roll Tide, Party Art will not disappoint!
