Annual Prayer Breakfast

The Annual Prayer Breakfast is designed for members to come together to fellowship, celebrate, and give thanks for our many blessings. It’s also a time to reflect on what’s truly important in life and inspires us to make a difference in the lives of others. Our keynote speaker will be Justin Fisher, an Economics instructor at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, AL, where in 2004 he received the Phi Theta Kappa Outstanding Faculty Member Award, and in 2008 was nominated for the college’s Outstanding Faculty Member Award. You will be inspired by his story. The Prayer Breakfast will be on Tuesday, November 22nd from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. at the Pelham Civic Complex, 500 Amphitheater Road, Pelham. RSVP is required by noon, Friday, November 19th. Greater Shelby Chamber member reservations $17, nonmembers $25. Higher synergy among employees helps accomplish both. Organizational Accountability will work with participants on the value of team members holding each other accountable and how to focus their teams on accountability coming from team members not just from organizational leadership. This allows your team to perform to standards without being micro-managed by the leadership of the organization. Grow and Go workshop to be held on November 10, 2011 from 11 am until 1 pm at the Greater Shelby Chamber office, 1301 County Services Drive, Pelham. RSVP is required by noon, Tuesday, November 8th.
