My wife, Kay, and I have been in photography a number of years. I actually shot Alabama Football in the mid 70’s for 2 seasons for the Scottsboro Sentinel. After attending an Imaging Conference in Nashville we decided to do this full time. It has been a ride, like any other business you have to find a niche. We have been blessed to find several. We can print images on site within moments, cover sports events, like college football, aerial shots of games, campuses, and more. We offer videography for weddings, real estate, etc. We have a great time, because we love what we do. We joined seven different chambers of commerce. What we learned was amazing! One Chamber keeps us busy, the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, has been the single biggest influence on our business growth. We now have national contracts to provide images, as well as, local shooting! The staff, beginning with the President Jennifer Whisenant, has helped us make contacts that made a huge impact in our business, not because we asked them to, but because they are proactive in seeking businesses that helped us grow. The businesses that are currently involved with the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce are eager and hungry to help find ways to partner with other businesses for growth.
