CONCERTS Monday, January 15 • 7 p.m. Screaming Orphans

The chart-topping, all-sister folk and pop band from Donegal bring their unique take on traditional Irish music to the Connie Brown Hall stage. The band has always defied being pigeonholed, having masterfully developed their own unique fusion of folk and pop, while pitch perfect harmonies have led them to collaborations with Sinéad O’Connor, Peter Gabriel, and Joni Mitchell. Thursday, January 25 • 7 p.m. Jazz Pianists Stephanie Trick & Paolo Alderighi

Pioneers in the use of four-hands piano in jazz, Trick and Alderighi have earned widespread success with their arrangements of classics from the ragtime and boogie woogie traditions—as well as from the Swing Era and the Golden Age of Tin Pan Alley. Blending impeccable technique with mature musicality, the piano duo has performed across the United States, Europe, and Asia, winning the acclaim of critics and fans alike. Tickets $55

Thursday, January 18 • 4 p.m. A Pirate’s Life for Me: Music and Songs of Maritime Dr. Tom Cimarusti will introduce the music and songs of sailors, pirates, and everything in between. From Sloop John B. to Blow the Man Down, sea chanteys have become a part of American pop culture, and not just a relic of the past. Bring your pirate hats and singing voices as we explore the instruments and songs of the sea. Tickets $15

On the Road Again also includes hubcap artworks created by children participating in art programs at Heights Center in Fort Myers. FREE
