The Reckless Saints
Partners in music and love since 2003, Roy Schneider and Kim Mayfield began recording and touring in 2008. “Blue Twangled Folk n’ Roll” is Roy’s answer to the question, “What kind of music do you play?” The Fort Myers-based duo decided to use his answer as the album title for their new release while also adopting the title of their 2018 release Reckless Saints as their new band moniker. Med Kellum’s South Seas Voyage
Join Historian Cesar Becerra in The Woodlands Grand Cypress Room as he shares the story of Florida pioneers Ada and Medford Kellum’s voyage to the South Pacific in their personal four-mast schooner, the Kaimiloa. Accompanied by a select group of scientists into uncharted territory, find out what they learned in their pursuit of new discoveries. Tickets $15

Broadway: The Hits and the Flops
Come join the fun as FGCU Professor Tom Cimarusti introduces a number of select Broadway hits by Rodgers & Hammerstein and Sondheim, as well as the disastrous flops that attempted to redefine musical theater. Following an examination of the cultural context in which such musicals were composed, Dr. Cimarusti will analyze some of Broadway’s most beloved songs. Tickets $15

New Perspectives: Creative Works by Shell Point Employees
This exhibition features more than 50 works in a wide variety of mediums, including drawing, ceramics, decorative arts, mixed media, needlepoint, painting, photography, sculpture, and woodworking. Literary submissions include poetry and even a book. In addition, New Perspectives presents artworks from young students from the Heights Center as part of a year-long collaboration between Tribby Arts Center and the school.
