Midland Restaurant Week
A
bold
vision.
Objective 1: Empower Survivors Shelterhouse depends on the critical funding provided by community members. The need to provide services to survivors in their time of crisis is crucial and ongoing. Raise $125,000 for Shelterhouse’s free, confidential, and empowering services provided to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Objective 2: Invest in Community Empowerment When called upon about Shelterhouse's annual fundraising event, local restaurants expressed their enthusiasm, but shared that they were still struggling from the impacts of COVID-19 and staffing their floors. Infuse empowerment throughout our community by transforming Shelterhouse's annual fundraising event into one that invites community members to enjoy meals and drinks at local restaurants’ brick and mortar locations. Objective 3: Build community over shared meals. It's our vision to create an engaged community that cultivates and nurtures healthy relationships. Encourage healthy conversations throughout our community, among hundreds of people, over shared meals.
When
survivors become empowered,
our
whole community flourishes.
