Music by Cy Coleman

Lyrics by Dorothy Fields

Book by Neil Simon

Inspired by Federico Fellini's Nights of Cabiria, Sweet Charity explores the turbulent love life of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in New York City. With a tuneful, groovy, mid-1960s score by Cy Coleman, sparkling lyrics by Dorothy Fields and a hilarious book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity captures all the energy, humor and heartbreak of life in the big city for an unlucky but irrepressible optimist.

Twelve Angry Jurors

October 27–30*

Glaize Studio Theatre

Tickets $17 by Reginald Rose

Stage version by Sherman L. Sergel

Adapted from the television show originally presented on Studio One, CBS-TV

Following the closing arguments in a murder trial, the twelve members of the jury must deliberate, with a guilty verdict meaning death for the accused, an inner-city teen. As the dozen jurors try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one of them casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide one youth’s fate.
