Mathew Art School Elevation Academic Project The project aims to provide a solution to the existing building facade by rethinking the connection between function and form, between the exterior and interior of the space. The architectural idea develops from a framing view of the River Tay, bringing light in through the void and most importantly, allowing visual interaction between different floors to happen, becoming a catalyst for exchanged ideas from different subject areas happening in the building.

RSPB Center Lochwinnoch Academic Project The project is located within the natural reserve at Lochwinnoch, where the new building would accommodate RSPB offices, a tourism center, a cafe restaurant, workshops, and an observatory tower, The design concept focuses on the quality of light and circulation experience throughout the space. A generous entrance and a viewpoint straight through the building frame the view of the lake. Staff office and restaurant are strategically decided by a path. The depth of the path allows the build-up of layers and hierarchy of space, as well as allowing natural daylight to penetrate deep spaces. Offering a whole new experience for visitors and users while minimizing the visual impact of the v in the natural landscape.

Dundee Blackness Regeneration Project Academic Project | Partly Group Work - Studio 3 Role : Team Leader - Graphics Producer and Model Making DBRP is an urban planning-focused project, group of 4 works collaboratively on an urban planning scale to rethink the built community on Blackness Road, located on the Northwest of Dundee University's main campus. Starting from the history of the place, and the function of buildings. The end macro strategies include the provision of high-density residential blocks, revitalizing derelict land as an open campus, and a natural park for communities. The micro strategy includes pedestrianizing part of the Blackness Road, redirecting traffic and pedestrian movement, that connects to the main university campus as an accessible and coherent community.

A RESPONSE TO DUNDEE’S FUTURE GENERATION GROWTH 2023 - 2050
B
Over the last three years, Dundee University has experienced a substantial influx of international students and witnessed a surge in research endeavors. Consequently, there arose a necessity for campus expansion. Situated at Blackness in Dundee, this project has been designed to harmonize with the existing environment. It offers nearby accommodation options, contributing to the growing population in the area and enhancing the overall quality of living for local residents.

Residential Housing Project Personal Project | Design Stage Role : Spatial Design and Layout Planning The project is a single occupancy residential housing located in Taipei, the idea of using minimal material and light color palettes to create the living and dining spaces, together with the use of glass, allows certain areas to review themselves partly when the light is turned on. The design of storage spaces against the wall is suited to daily function, proportioned to the most comfortable height and organization based on the user's need.

Leisure Center Competition Design Project Professional Practice Role : Documenting Design Process | Digital Model Making | Render Work | Publication This project is based on an existing building with the renovation of the interior room to make the building into a hotel, the highlight of the project is the additional roof structure, that extends from the original building volume down to the foyer spaces, in the form of traditional pitched roof of courtyard houses in Taipei. The foyer spaces are open up the public and provide shelter and entrance walkway all the way to the foyer spaces underneath the main structure. Roof-top terraces are part of the proposal to make a restaurant space, providing views of the city under a massive roof. Project are based on professional practice work.
Macro Strategy - Dundee by Shengke
Residential Housing Proposal Professional Practice Role : Digital Model Making and Render Work
The work included spatial rearrangement and planning for interior spaces, by the implication of architectural ideas on a macro scale, allowing the control of teaching different elements, and truly understanding the scale and dimension of interior spaces. Blender software and Rhino are used in the model making and render process to produce the final imagae.
