six years ago. I have always felt that there is something a little sad about an abandoned house. Stories to be told, lives lived, joy, sorrow, laughter, tears. An abandoned house is like a book without any pages. the walls are there, but what happened inside? Why did they leave? Was it a family, or a gardener tending to his crops, or a lonely grandmother whose

These are my houses. What are their stories? I was also inspired by my visit to Cuba. All of the large, aristocratic homes abandoned, falling into disrepair, but now being inhabited by new families. Many families in homes that once housed only one. The memories and stories continue.
