FINAL WORDS From The Youth League 2 Women's Coach This is a momentous time for the Sherbrooke Suns women’s program. It’s the first time in club history that a Suns senior Big V women’s team has made it to a grand final series. It’s exciting and every Youth League player is fully aware of it’s significance and determined not to let this Championship prize slip through our fingers. Having said that we know the job is not done yet and it’s going to be a tough one. The Frankston Blues are a formidable opposition. Finishing top of the ladder with just one loss to the Suns, they will be determined to prove that our victory was just a minor hiccup. Conversely we are equally determined to prove that our win over them was well deserved. Coming into the series, we know the Blues game well and we are confident we can stamp our authority on series right from the first jump ball. In addition our team has peeked just at the right time, consolidating our offensive and defensive structures and arriving to this grand final series in peek physical condition. All in all it’s going to be an exciting game for supporters to watch and could easily go down to the deciding third game.
