She's Got Issues is a visually raw reflection of the punk and Riot Grrrl movements, with a contemporary distinction to address current issues in gender equality and gender neutral living. With content leaning towards the darker realms, my publication aims to evoke emotion through conjuring a deeper level of thought within my audience. By challenging the traditional perspective of how we are taught to view rejection to conformity, 'Issues' is a form of unorthodox escapism and introduces a powerful alter ego, allowing my audience to admire and reflect attributes from this rebellious persona. This is a community and platform for individuals who face rejection in modern day society because of who they are.
