Learning Outcome
At DiCRC • Search and Research Search and Research meant that before going on field to document furniture pieces, pre-field research is a necessity to find out the maximum numbers of the pieces and data and make the most of the days spent on the field.
• On field - Photography, Story and Measurements Field trip are the starting point of the project and each furniture piece found on the field is documented by photographs, schematic drawings with measurement and the story behind it which is narrated by the local people.
• Data Categorization After the field trip and back on the center, data is categorized and stored in a certain format and name series so its convenient for the entire office. Each furniture piece documented on the field has its respective form so the all the data regarding the piece is gathered and due to this there are lesser chances to miss out on the data and information.
• Drawings Selected furniture piece from all the furniture pieces documented on the field trip are then documented in drawing forms as well. Drawings consist of plan, section, elevation and 3D.
